A historic inn with modern comforts.
Newfane, Vermont
Project overview:
The personification of New England charm, the Four Columns Inn required modern updates and a brighter, fresher feel. This project included redecoration and finishing of the guest rooms, as well as custom build-outs and lighting design for the award-winning restaurant. Additionally, I created a program of rotating exhibitions with local artists installed throughout the inn to bring a warmth and personalization into each room. Antique toys and tools were used to adorn empty walls, while custom light fixtures were created in collaboration with the artist Peter Kirkiles.
